Wachusett Barnstormers of Gardner, MA, has a long heritage. Over
25 years ago it was created by a small group of people that had a
true passion of flying all types of RC aircraft. We continue that
tradition today by expanding our membership base, flying as often
as we can, and holding annual fun events. Two key ingredients
everyone shares is to be helpful, and have lots of fun.
Six years ago we teamed up with a group of avid RC Jet Pilots that
fly real turbine jet models up to 200 MPH. That year we created the
first New England Jet Rally, which was held at Gardner Municipal
Airport in Gardner, MA. Each year it has grown larger, and this year
expects to be our biggest and best ever. All club members are
strongly encouraged to be a part of this great event that you will
never forget.
Our club field is a beautifully maintained long grass runway. It is
located at High Ridge Wildlife Field in Gardner, MA, off Rte 140,
behind the North Central Correctional Institution. All members
adhere to the strict Flying Times that are dictated by the Mass
Wildlife Management.
We strongly encourage anyone interested in this great hobby to
